Isuzu Malaysia Sdn Bhd introduced their new limited edition X-series, Isuzu D-Max, targeted for those who are looking for urban sports concept pick-up truck.
The signature identity of Isuzu D-Max X-Series is its body decal that flaunts a sporty stripe design at the bonnet surface and the tailgate.
Other special features include welcome light that will turn on and project onto the ground for 30 seconds upon unlocking the car, red colour LED interior accent light that turns on once the door is opened or unlocked and LED illuminator rocker plate.
The exterior design of Isuzu D-Max has been redesign to channel a bold and sporty look.
Adorning the exterior body is an athletic front skirting with a dual tone of red highlight and the sporty red skirting is designed together with the aero sports bar.
Isuzu also offers exterior accessories package namely the exclusive red logo badge at the car rear tailgate with X-Series emblem and a grey coloured front grille with red Isuzu logo at the front.
The Isuzu D-Max X-Series also offers extended standard accessories which include 360° Around View Monitor (AVM) system, built in in-car electronic tag and honeycomb shape stitched leather car seat.
The AVM system makes use of four exterior cameras in order to have a bird’s eye view for increased safety.
The built-in tag works just like an in-car electronic tag whereby Touch N Go card needs to be slotted into the reader which is located inside the armrest and card balance will be shown at the screen.
Isuzu Malaysia chief operating officer for light commercial vehicle, Masayuki Suzuki said, “Since the tax holiday with zero-rated GST started, demand for Isuzu D-Max especially has increased tremendously due to the fact that the pick-up is priced 6 per cent lower, a significant reduction”.
He also added that since the limited edition X-Series is launched into the Malaysia market on tax holiday period, consumers should take advantage of the situation.
In conjunction with the launching of Isuzu D-Max X-Series, Isuzu announced the launch of “Dura-Miles Challenge 2018”.
The “Dura-Miles Challenge 2018” campaign includes a series of test drive contest and photo wall contest that will run from August 13 to October 31.
The grand prize for test drive contest is vacation package worth RM3,000 followed by RM1,000 cash voucher for the second place and RM500 cash voucher for the third place.
Meanwhile, the winners for the photo contest will receive RM1,000 worth of cash voucher.
