Petaling Jaya, 5 July 2022 - For the first time ever, Malaysia’s leading Mercedes-Benz dealership Cycle & Carriage offers the public an up-close and personal experience with the brand at its debut lifestyle concept store, neu by Cycle & Carriage, at 1 Utama Shopping Centre.
“neu”, pronounced noy in German means “new”, hence neu by Cycle & Carriage is a representation of new experiences created for the adventure-seekers and lifestyle connoisseurs who are always in pursuit of the finer things in life.
Cycle & Carriage brings to life exceptional journeys for the public at its four-month long lifestyle concept store, neu by Cycle & Carriage.
From now until 31 October 2022, Malaysians can embark on an exceptional journey and discover Cycle & Carriage’s commitments to delivering service excellence through different lifestyle touchpoints, both physical and digital. The concept store will be hosting curated exhibitions in collaboration with local and international brands, workshops and seminars to better experience Mercedes-Benz cars and displays of newly launched and highly-anticipated Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
Throughout all four months, the concept store will be dedicated to thematic experiences such as “sustainability”, “electrification”, “high-street fashion” and “outdoor adventure”. Visitors can expect an exciting line-up of events organised in collaboration with strategic brand partners, in line with the thematic experience for that particular month.
Mr Thomas Tok, Chief Executive Officer of Cycle & Carriage Malaysia, shares about the brand's commitment to delivering exceptional journeys at its first ever lifestyle concept store.
“Since the introduction of the company in 1899, Cycle & Carriage has always been resilient to adapting and growing while remaining committed to achieve product and service excellence in the automotive sector, the hallmarks of which Cycle & Carriage still stands for. With neu by Cycle & Carriage, we hope to translate this commitment into experiences and inspirations that Malaysians can see, touch, feel, and even connect digitally,” quoted Mr. Thomas Tok, CEO of Cycle & Carriage.
“Mercedes-Benz Malaysia congratulates the team at Cycle & Carriage in the introduction of neu by Cycle & Carriage. This store serves as a space for friends and fans of Mercedes-Benz to experience the brand’s lifestyle that goes beyond our cars, to our vision for a sustainable future and living,” said Ms. Sagree Sardien, President & CEO of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia.

In an effort to raise awareness on the importance of taking care of the environment, Cycle & Carriage will collaborate with local brands that share the same commitment to sustainability; Shamrock Botanics in partnership with City Gardening to showcase organic fertilisers made from repurposed agricultural waste, Munimalism championing the use of ordinary natural resources in apparels, and highly awarded Curated Coffee Roasters focusing on sustainable relationships with coffee producers, trusted exporters, and customers.
The 3,300 sq ft concept store will debut with popular Mercedes-Benz models like the recently introduced locally assembled Mercedes-AMG GLA 35 4MATIC, the Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 AMG Line compact SUV, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class - the brand’s best-selling limousines - and the EQA 250 all-electric vehicle. Visitors who are interested can make a test drive appointment and even place a booking on the spot. For Mercedes-Benz aficionados, the brand’s exclusive collection and accessories will be available for purchase at the store.
