The Vistage Members Excellence Awards were given out for the second time this year at a special ceremony held as part of the Vistage CEO Summit 2023.

The annual awards ceremony, held on May 19 at One World Hotel Petaling Jaya, saw a total of 15 winners in two categories – the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Leadership Award.

This is in recognition of entrepreneurs who grew significantly and made a strong impact for the qualifying Year 2022.

Five winners received the Lifetime Achievement Award category and 10 winners the Leadership Award.

The winners were selected based on stringent criteria:

- Nominees must currently be VCE or VEE members in good standing with Vistage.  

- Chairs and members can nominate.    

- Can nominate as many members but duplicate nominations are not allowed.    

- Shortlisting by Vistage office.   

- The winners chosen by 4 Master Mentor Chairs and the Vistage Malaysia Founder.   

Vistage Malaysia & Singapore (VMS), founded by Richard CM Wong in 1994, is a licensee of US-based Vistage International, the world’s leading chief executive leadership development organisation, a community of more than 30,000 members in 26 countries.

To date, VMS has more than 1,200 members with a combined annual revenue of over RM80 billion, providing employment to over 130,000 individuals.

The Member Excellence Awards started in 2022 and it was spearheaded by Wong. 

Wong continues to lead it this year, saying he is proud of presenting the awards to the latest winning members. 

“I am immensely proud of the annual Member Excellence Awards which continue to celebrate Vistage members’ hard work, dedication and relentless pursuit for excellence,” said Richard CM Wong, Vistage Malaysia & Singapore Founder    

“They strive to do and be better in life and business,” Wong added.
