FARNBOROUGH, UNITED KINGDOM, July 25 (Bernama) -- The Selangor State Government organised a soft launch to reveal its strategic plan to develop a 2000 – acre mixed development land into a dedicated aerospace industrial park called the Selangor International Aero Park (SAP) here at the Malaysian Pavilion in Farnborough International Airshow 2022, taking advantage of the country’s participation in one of the biggest aviation and aerospace industry expo in the region. SAP is an initiative by the Selangor State Government to cater to the increasing demands from the existing and new aerospace industry players to set up APAC regional operations in Malaysia.

The soft launch ceremony was officiated by The Right Honourable Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, Chief Minister of Selangor. Other representatives from the Selangor State Government that were present include State Executive Councillor for Industry and Trade, The Honourable Dato’ Teng Chang Khim, the Deputy State Secretary cum Director of Selangor State Economic Planning Unit, Dr Nor Fuad Abdul Hamid and many others.
