With SPM just months away, 200 students in Langkawi and Ranau now have access to structured academic support through Amanie Care Foundation’s SmartQuests initiative. Recognising the challenges faced by students from financially constrained backgrounds, the foundation has expanded the programme to three schools in Langkawi, Kedah, and one school in Ranau, Sabah, providing comprehensive digital learning resources to help them prepare effectively for the national examination.
The SmartQuest programme, currently in full swing, integrates digital education via the myGuru platform, which offers structured lessons, interactive exercises, and targeted exam preparations. Students enrolled in the programme have access to Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Inggeris, Matematik, Sains, Sejarah, Fizik, Kimia, Biologi, Matematik Tambahan, Pendidikan Islam, and Pendidikan Moral, ensuring they receive well-rounded academic support across key SPM subjects.
For many students, especially those in rural and underserved areas, access to quality educational resources and tuition remains a challenge. SmartQuest is designed to bridge this gap by leveraging digital tools to provide accessible and structured learning materials. Through myGuru, students can engage with topic-based tutorials, past-year question drills, and AI-assisted learning features that adapt to their needs, making exam preparation more effective.
The expansion of SmartQuest builds on the success of last year’s initiative and reflects Amanie Care Foundation’s commitment to empowering students with the right tools for academic excellence. By ensuring that students, regardless of their financial circumstances, receive the same quality of learning as their peers, the foundation is helping to create a more level playing field in education.
Speaking about the programme’s impact, Azhari Mohd Yusop, Chief Financial Officer of Amanie Care Foundation, shared:
"Education is the foundation for a brighter future, and no student should be left behind due to financial difficulties. SPM is a pivotal moment for these students, and through SmartQuest, we aim to provide them with the resources and academic guidance they need to excel. By expanding this initiative to Langkawi and Ranau, we are reaffirming our commitment to supporting education and creating real opportunities for students in need."
SmartQuest is not just about preparing for exams—it is about building confidence, fostering independent learning, and equipping students with skills that will serve them beyond SPM.
Since its establishment, Amanie Care Foundation has prioritised education as a key pillar of community development. With a focus on sustainable impact, the foundation continues to expand its initiatives, ensuring that students from underserved communities receive the support they need to thrive.
By integrating technology-driven education, strategic partnerships, and long-term community engagement, Amanie Care Foundation is playing a crucial role in nurturing Malaysia’s next generation of leaders and changemakers.
